We lost the bag of kitty food for a few hours.  It was found in the dining room, still in the Walmart bag.  We are desperately trying to keep this cat from running away because he's amazing.  All of our amazing cats run away.  He's microchipped, fixed, up to date on his shots - and has gone through 5 personalized expensive collars.

When love is lost, we lose the part of ourselves that did the loving — a part that, depending on the magnitude of the love, can come to approximate the whole of who we are. I have been missing my father very much lately, and this quote really touched me.
